Obedience Classes

Basic Obedience 101:

This is the first level of BARK University’s series of 6-week obedience courses. At this level, trainers will introduce basic training concepts to human clients and obedience skills to dogs. We emphasize reward-based methods to train obedience skills, instill safe behaviors, and coach fun tricks. BARK University has two ultimate goals: first, to develop confident dogs that can make good choices, even in stressful environments, and second, to inspire confident owners who know how to problem-solve and advocate for their dogs, even in stressful situations.

Skills Taught: Sit, down, stay, name recognition, Touch, On/off platform, heel, beginner leash walking, recall, and polite greetings
